The money follows the job

A deposit taken at booking, a fare priced from your tariff the moment it's chosen, a balance settled after the drop-off, a refund when someone cancels in good time. All of it attached to the job it belongs to — not typed into a card machine and forgotten.

Deposits

The cheapest way to stop a no-show is to make it cost something

A free booking is an easy one to skip. Ask for a deposit on the jobs where it matters — the airport runs, the long executive hires — and leave the rest free to book.

  • Set a deposit per service: a fixed amount, or a percentage of the fare
  • Taken by card at the point of booking — the slot isn't held until it clears
  • Automatically set against the final fare, so nobody pays twice
  • Refunded in a click when a customer cancels within your notice period

Fixed, hourly and account

Three pricing routes. One tariff.

A fixed airport fare has a set price. An hourly hire runs on your rate card. An account customer is billed monthly, and a quoted job might be bespoke. RideAlign decides which of those applies when the service is chosen — and the answer travels with the job.

  • Fixed point-to-point fares come from a distance-and-zone tariff you control
  • Hourly and as-directed rates live in your own vehicle-class rate card
  • Account and corporate billing is a proper pricing route, not a discount bodge
  • The price is snapshotted at booking, so raising your tariff never rewrites an old quote

What that means at the dispatch desk

Charge the balance, not the full fare

If a deposit was taken, the desk charges what's actually left. It works the balance out — nobody is doing subtraction in front of a customer.

Refunds without a phone call to support

Full or partial, straight back to the card that paid, with the reason recorded against the job.

A history you can defend

Every charge, capture and refund is kept against the job it belongs to. Not a status flag — a ledger.

Pay online, or pay in the car

Some operators want the money up front. Some want it after. Some want a deposit and the rest on the day. All three are settings, not workarounds.

Payment questions

Who processes the cards?

Stripe. Card details never touch RideAlign's servers, and the money lands in your own Stripe account — we don't hold your takings.

Do I have to take deposits on everything?

No, and you shouldn't. Deposits are set per service. Most operators put one on the airport runs and long hires and leave a short local job free to book.

How are fares priced?

From a tariff you control — distance-and-zone for fixed fares, a rate card per vehicle class for hourly hire. Choose the service and it takes the right price.

What happens if a customer cancels?

Your cancellation policy decides. Refund the deposit in full, keep it, or refund part — in one click, with the reason recorded.

Stop chasing money after the job

Take it at booking, price it correctly, and settle the rest after the drop-off.
